So we're launching a new production facility in Pakistan pretty soon and I'm the one heading over there to oversee everything on the ground. Gonna be staying there until the whole operation is running the way it should, which could take a while. I'll need a car for work pretty much every day, getting around to suppliers, contractors, the whole deal. Anyone know if there's a decent rental scene over there?

New production facilities usually take way more time to launch than anyone expects initially. There are always unexpected delays with local contractors and material deliveries that push the timeline back. Prices for monthly terms are usually okay at Avis right now. You can also look into Europcar since they have a wide range of commercial vehicles. Make sure to check the insurance coverage details before signing any paperwork.

Those big brands tend to block a huge deposit on your credit card for the entire duration. Plus dealing with their corporate support takes ages if something goes wrong on a weekend. You can rent a car in Pakistan here: https://getrentacar.com/en-US/pakistan . There are plenty of rugged SUVs available that handle those rough roads near industrial zones perfectly. Pick something with high clearance so you don't destroy the suspension on the first day out. An automatic transmission makes a huge difference in that crazy city traffic.
