Additionally, due to how dark the game in general, it's a lot harder to place a trap that players won't step into than it is to put one in a place that they are likely to step into.

Dark and Darker's fourth alpha playtest for the game is running (as of the time of the writing of this). It's currently planned to run from February 6th, 2023, through February 13 with players having a full week to play around with the latest changes, maps and general update.

The game of Dark and Darker, the intended 'goal' for the player is enter into the dungeon, grab as much loot as possible and escape. And, as far as loot is concerned there's a good amount. Everything a player picks up within the dungeon can be sold to the Merchants when they get out, with general gold and silver antiquity/pottery/dishware selling for the most. But, what about one of the more sought-after items they come across in the form of the Ancient Scroll? What does it accomplish, and if it is available, what price is it worth?

Unfortunately it's true that the Ancient Scroll currently does not serve a function to be used in Dark and Darker. It's unclear whether this will change in future alphas or even the full release, but at present it serves no actual function. Although it takes up 6 slots of inventory and coming across as some sort of 'rare' product, it actually does nothing and that's not anything at all.

Short answer? The Ancient Scroll is not nearly worth the amount of gold it is sold for, at least when compared to the other valuable things that can be put to use. Ancient Scrolls are six squares of the player's relatively limited 50-slot bag space and can be purchased for around 3 gold at the Collector, if the buyer succeeds in obtaining the item in their possession [url=https://www.mmoexp.com/Dark-and-darker/Gold.html]Dark And Darker Gold for sale[/url]. So, it's much better for players to fill those four slots with random jewelry or tableware. And, quick tip for beginners: random weaponry (unless in a high rarity) is not worthy of keeping for its sell price, at a minimum, over the single-slot important items like jewelry or other.
